 Vacation Rental Description
Why stay in a cramped hotel room when you can have a whole house?Come and enjoy our beautiful vacation home. The property is very convenient for both Disney and the beaches. Our home has been renovated whilst trying to retain some of the old charm of the property. We spend all our free time here and hate when we have to leave! It sits on half a fenced acre. You are welcome to park your boat/RV behind the gates

. The property is decorated in a contemporary style. We retained some of the original features i.e. the original hardwood floors, interior French doors and fireplace. The kitchen is very well equipped for entertaining – stainless steel appliances, gas range, wine refrigerator etc. The breakfast room is great for your early morning coffee. There is an small enclosed porch off the breakfast room. The main TV is located in the small den which overlooks the completely walled/fenced private garden. There is a living room with dining area off the kitchen. The main bedroom has two full size beds and the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. Maximum occupancy is 4 persons and absolutely non-smoking. The bathroom was gutted and is now very fresh and clean. With approx 1300sq ft of under air living space you will not be cramped. For your enjoyment and convenience there are 3 TV's (2 of them are flat panel HDTV) and free WIFI high speed broadband Internet. Bring your laptop so you can stay in touch with the world! There is no garage but we have ample parking under our majestic trees and behind the gates. The property is located close to the Indian River and Historic downtown Titusville. Convenience stores and restaurants are practically on the doorstep. If you love the beach, fishing, kayaking, sky diving, wildlife, nature this is the place for you! And don’t forget the Kennedy Space Center where you can see the world's most advanced technologies including the Space Shuttles. Disney and the attractions are less than an hour away.

. The Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge contains more threatened and endangered plants and animals than any other wildlife refuge in the continental United States, including the West Indian Manatee, Florida Scrub Jay, Gopher Tortoise and Indigo Snake. More than 5,000 alligators live on Merritt Island. The Indian River Lagoon system, which borders the refuge, has more species of plants and animals than any other North American estuary. Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Kennedy Space Center are truly a gateway to Florida's past and future

. Route 402 from North Titusville; Twenty seven miles of undeveloped barrier island provide the pristine Atlantic beaches of Playalinda, Klondike and Apollo. It is a major destination for bird lovers. The beaches are known world-wide for excellent surfing. This is part of the largest sea turtle nesting area in the United States

. Titusville is a world class fishing location with over 500 species of marine fish found in the Indian River Lagoon, and over 100 species of fresh water fish found in the St. John's River and the fresh water lakes in this area

. Offshore, the Atlantic Ocean holds a variety of big game fish and you will enjoy trolling for Dolphin, King Mackerel, Wahoo, Sail Fish, or bottom fishing for Grouper, Snapper, and Cobia

. Port Canaveral just down the coast is home to a number of cruise ships, offshore fishing charters, party fishing boats, casino boats and dining venues. This area is a must-see for all visitors to the Space Coast. And don’t forget the world famous Dixie Crossroads Seafood Restaurant. You don’t even need a car to get to it! Owner is a licensed real estate broker.

**The property has 2 large glass topped tables that just lay on the bases that would be a hazard to very young children if they were to grab hold of the edge.** Just want to let you know!

Clean, modern ameneties and a big back yard Shuttlenuts NYC Stay: April 2010 Why stay at a hotel when all you do is sleep in a room and spend money? Like anything arranged over the Internet we had our doubts about the house even though the owners were very professional and courteous. Any doubts we had vanished the minute we opened the door (not that the exterior is anything to complain about). The house is very tastfully furnished in modern decor, the beds are comfy, the linens clean and the shower powerful and hot for four people showering one after the other. The kitchen is well equipped and there's a screened porch and bbq for cooking in, saving money and planning for the next day. We rented for the shuttle launch and were we to go again I'd have to say it's the perfect place. If you're going to Cocoa Beach for the day it's all major highways, as well. You can even hit Daytona Beach and Orlando is 38 minutes away. Overall, can't recommend the house and the owners enough! Hint: there's a bagel place (can't remember the name) about 100 yards away. Bagels with egg, cheese and bacon for breakfast when no one feels like cooking!

JM/NC Dec 2009

We weren't expecting to be able to "eat off the floor" but this house is very fine and convenient for us. This property is an obvious restoration done in perfect taste. What a prime investment - we are jealous!

Kim & Debbie Memphis, TN Review Submitted: September 2, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009 Marvelous House. Great location for the Beach! Very clean, comfortable & well-Maintained. Super customer service and would definitely recommend to a friend.

deb f Maryland, USA Review Submitted: October 20, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009 My husband and I stayed here while visiting relatives in town, and were very comfortable. The house is immaculate and has everything anyone might need. We will be returning in the spring, hopefully! The photographs are accurate, and even though the temperatures outside were over 90 degrees during the daytime, the ceiling fans combined with the air conditioner set at 76 degrees kept the house cool. The owner provides wonderful customer service, and is available by phone or email. I would recommend this property to a friend.

Great House Close to Merritt island NWR Romantic Birder Pahrump, Nv Review Submitted: July 22, 2009 Date of Stay: November 2008 As avid birdwatchers and beachcombers, we really enjoyed this stylishly decorated home very close to Merritt Island NWR, Cape Canaveral, and an exceptional seafood restaurant and market. The screened-in back porch is a great place for morning coffee or relaxing in the afternoon with a glass of wine. Everything you need is well provided.

Titusville House WMM Glasgow, Scotland Review Submitted: July 16, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009 This house is completely true to all the descriptions given. The facilities are excellent and there are lots of handy extras such as a plentiful supply of charcoal for the barbecue and various other extras you would not normally find in a holiday house. This gave it a more "homely" feel than is usual. The property is very well maintained and exceptionally clean. All dealings with the proprietor were pleasantly and professionally dealt with. I would recommend this house to friends without hesitation. The house is well situated for visiting the coast, Merritt Island and Kennedy Space Centre. We also visited various theme parks and Blue Springs Park which, although further afield, were within a reasonable distance. It's fair to say that the house is a bit off the normal "tourist" trail but for those that prefer to experience a bit more of the real world, this is a positive benefit.

Comfortable home with easy drive to major sights Ilovetravel Boston, MA Review Submitted: May 29, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009 My husband and I spent most of January 2009 in this very comfortable home. The furnishings were attractive and the whole house was very clean. The kitchen had excellent appliances. We especially enjoyed a small screened porch in back and frequently ate there. The wifi was a big plus. We loved Titusville -- not so touristy as some places. It has a quiet small-town feel. Many of its restaurants look modest but have truly delicious seafood and lots of southern cooking. The house is ideally located for driving places -- 5 minutes to connect to interstate 95. In the other direction, 10 minutes east takes you to the huge and beautiful Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge with hiking trails and driving loops. Cape Canaveral is not too far either. The owner was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this house to others.

great stay kimberly & jim Gill,MA Review Submitted: March 15, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009 our stay was 2/2009. we found the house to be true to the pictures that we saw. the house had everything we needed, right down to the pans and plates. it was nicely decorated and clean. it was a quiet neighborhood. It had a pleasant enclosed yard with fruit trees...very nice. We also thought that the money transaction was quick and honest. We would definitely stay again.

CJLS Idaho Review Submitted: February 21, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009 Our family of four stayed here in February 2009. We planned on watching the February 12th shuttle take off but it was postponed until after we left. Nevertheless, there was plenty for us to do in the area...two days at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC), two days at the wildlife refuge, another day at Blue Springs State Park (about an hour or so away) for canoeing and watching the manatees. We went to Cocoa Beach but left as soon as we got there as it was not "our cup of tea". This rental was very clean and well maintained. Geraldine Lovato provided excellent customer service and it is obvious that she aims to please. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the thick bath towels. Although the location is not in the best part of town, I felt safe. I would say that this home is primarily for adults, although our children, aged 9 and 11 years, loved it. We bought a couple of games and books and we were set. Our kids are avid readers and they were in heaven reading on the leather couch set. There are some movies at the house, but we also used the Blockbuster movie card that was available to us while we stayed there to rent Apollo 13 after our visit to KSC. There is a 7/11 type of store a few houses away and a bagel shop that opens early in the morning. We had the BEST seafood at Dixie Crossroads, also just across the main thoroughfare..it was so good that we ate there twice. I highly recommend this property!

Georgeous hide-away in Florida's back-yard Josee London Review Submitted: March 12, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2007 When first inquiring for a quaint, quiet & family friendly property for which I could rest my labor drained body, I never would have thought relaxation & rejuvenation could have awaited me in such a remote location. When first presented with the suggestion of 'Titusville' - I instantly searched my memory for recall but with no avail as to whether I had ever heard of the haven at hand. Now that I have experienced it's breath taking beach, gorgeous seagull-manned looking bridge & fantastic shopping locations I can truly say that this was a getaway far beyond my expectations. The home in question, was a beautifully laid out plan, with much space for everyone. Gorgeously furnished and a breathtaking backyard which lay a kin to a period novel complete with orange tree & all. It had remarkable advantage if you are one looking to bronze in the sun. I highly recommend this property & urge all considering to visiting Titusville to inquire about this wonderful property.

A Florida relaxing experience Wisconsinite Amery, WI Review Submitted: March 7, 2008 Date of Stay: February 2008 February 2008. This is our first visit to Florida and a new experience escaping -15 degrees in Wisconsin. It seems like June or July and we have to keep reminding ourselves that it si February - not June! We have been comfortable in your house and you have kept it supplied with all the necessities for everyday living. This is a cute place and we can tell you have taken care with it and the many updates. We have enjoyed the smaller community. Orlando was too busy for us. We don't know what the future is, but it would be nice to come back again. Thanks for letting us use your house. I really liked you color scheme. It reminds me of the ocean and the sandy beaches.

farmer Des Moines, IA Review Submitted: February 27, 2008 Date of Stay: February 2008 Your decorator did an excellent job. It is inviting but not overwhelming. Climate here is very humid compared to Iowa in winter! We enjoyed our stay at your place. The weather turned out well for golf and our outings to Kennedy Space Center, Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach. Since we left Iowa they have had over 12” of snow plus subzero temperatures. Are we ever going to feel the cold when we get back!,P.
