"The Red Barn" - Stowe, Vermont (VT) 05680

The Red Barn is just 14 miles from the Stowe Mountain area, where the activities are vast from skiing, snowboarding, sleigh rides, winter walking and ice skating in the winter, to a world class water wonderland at Smugglers Notch in the summer. Dog Sledding with pups for peace is just one mile away from the house at the National State Park. There is golf in the area too. Lake Elmore is just a 1 mile walk away from the Red Barn for swimming, kayaking and hiking up to Elmore mountain, overlooking the lake. There are an abundance of rentals such as bicycles and kayaks in the area for you to use, and ample space at the barn for storage of these articles.

Our home boasts four spacious bedrooms and sleeps 12 people comfortably. The loft houses one queen bed and two twin beds with a bathroom. The ground floor a queen bedroom, fully fitted kitchen with an eating area & two bar stools, a large table and 8 chairs, whilst the lounge area provides welcoming comfort on two large leather sofas, a love nest and the log burning stove, TV and DVD. The basement is an ideal den for the young adults in your party, with a queen bedroom, twin bedroom and a lounge area with queen size sofa/sleeper, large chair, board games, ping pong table, TV/DVD/computer play station and games. The laundry facilities are also in the basement.

For the shoppers in your party, Burlington is a vibrant city with a large range of shops. Stowe Village provides a quaint shopping experience and the capital city of Vermont, Montpelier is only 30 minutes away.
