Description |
| Our 'Casa Bonita' home is a four bedroom custom designed pool home completed in 2006. It is located on a quiet street in the Bonita Shores neighborhood. The master suite has a king bed, full bath and walk-in closet. The two guest bedrooms have a queen and two twins and share their own full bath. The fourth bedroom is furnished as a den/TV room and has a queen hide-a-bed for extra visitors. This home has large sliders from the vaulted Great Room to the lanai and pool. Bonita Beach and Barefoot Beach are easily reached by a 2km ride on our new 15-speed bikes. Barefoot Beach may be the most unspoiled, beautiful beach in Southwest Florida! The pool is on the sunny south side of the house and has a heater for winter swimming. Everything you need for your holiday is included: bed and bath linens, pool and beach towels, and a well equipped kitchen. If you prefer to dine out, we are within walking distance or a short drive of many fine restaurants, including the best curry in the area!
Bonita Shores is a neighborhood near the Gulf of Mexico (and its fabulous beaches) between Naples in the south and Bonita Springs to the east. Sunny and mild weather year-round makes Southwest Florida a holiday paradise. Our guests enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities, many of which are focused on the beach, but other opportunities for nature study are diverse and remarkable. Try birding at Sanibel Island or Corkscrew Audubon Sanctuary, spot alligators at the Big Cypress, or boat through the vast and mysterious Everglades. Peter is a guide/naturalist and if you like he can give you tips on where to go to see wildlife and nature at its best. Recent guests have enjoyed trips in our boat to remote and seldom seen beaches for shelling, walking, swimming and picnicking. Ask Cate or Peter for more information.
The house has a split floor plan. The Master bedroom is on its own hall and separated from the guest bedrooms for peace and privacy. A porta-crib and other baby equipment is available at no charge for those who might need it, so ask before you pack it, we may save you some luggage!
We have made extra efforts to accommodate a wide variety of holiday-makers, families with children and infants will find beach toys, strollers and more available. Disabled travellers can easily enter and get around the house. Pets are welcome on approval and with a signed pet addendum. We request that smokers not smoke indoors. There is an ample comfortable outdoor area around the pool for smoking. Please ask about our other 3 rental homes!
