Upon arrival you can park in one of the garage spaces or in one of the many areas available for parking along the curving driveway. In the garage you will find one of the two elevators which serve the home.
Enter the home from the garage elevator or from the front door and the first view you will have is straight down the center of the home directly to the ocean. An Oceanfront bay window spanning the great room with more windows on either side invite the outside inside. You will feel as if the ocean is right in your yard, and it is.
Floor One: 1 King Suite – 1 Queen Suite with extra Queen Sofa bed - Kitchen - Utility Room - Great Room - Dining Room - Bar -Powder Room. Hardwood floors, extensive millwork including large crown moldings show exquisite attention to detail. Granite counter tops, mantles and wall treatments along with overstuffed elegant chairs and sofas add richness and texture. The expansive custom made dining table with comfortable, cushioned chairs invites long lazy lunches and never ending dinners. The gourmet kitchen which includes a four burner Thermador gas stove with griddle and electric convection oven and designer stainless steel and glass hood will delight any chef.
The sink has a picture window looking out to the beach. The center island is topped with granite and has seating for 6 to 8. Right outside the kitchen door on the deck which leads down to the pool is an outside gas grill. The kitchen is complimented with a double door refrigerator and Bosch dishwasher. A unique feature for a rental home is the full butlers pantry/2nd kitchen which offers a second refrigerator, ice maker, many storage cupboards, travertine counter preparation areas as well as a European style under the counter washer and dryer. For convenience there is a guest bathroom just inside the front door.
A pair of double doors from the hall open to a King bedroom suite with a private bathroom which has twin pedestal sinks and a large marble shower. The beautiful bed, and large walk in closet create a private haven. At the rear of the house, there is another very large King Suite with beautiful four poster bed, sitting area, spa bath and shower.
The 'always on' high speed wireless internet is setup in the Great room and reaches throughout the house.
Floor Two: 1 Queen - 3 King suites. The largest King master bedroom suite has absolutely stunning ocean views. The bed and Southern Living style Armoire, sofa, coffee table and armchairs makes this room irresistible. The bathroom has expansive ocean views and luxurious marble and mirror encased finishing with two vanities, a walk in closet, a spa tub and separate marble shower. The private deck has unobstructed expansive ocean views. Also on this level are three more Bedroom suites, each with private bathrooms. One bedroom, offers a walk in closet, bathroom with a granite counter & 2 vanities and a separate stone shower. It also has a private deck looking out over the gardens and has views to the ocean. Another bedroom also offers a walk in closet and bath with twin pedestal sinks and shower. The fourth bedroom on this floor is the Queen and it has a gorgeous armoire housing a TV with DVD player.
There is a second large, stackable washer and dryer just for that floor. All bedrooms have TVs with DVD players, and phone.
Floor Three: 2 King suites - Library/Coffee Bar. The oceanfront King suite has expansive ocean views and a large deck from which one can see all the way to Savannah on a clear day. A large flatscreen TV, plus a bathroom fit for Royalty with marble floors, walls of mirror, two vanities set in granite counter tops, a large shower and a spa tub round out this impressive 2nd master suite. Next door is a charming conversation area with coffee bar, refrigerator and comfy elegant chaise lounges that allow for a more peaceful reading room or quiet space. The second King suite is almost as impressive and has views back over part of the roof of the rear of the house.
Oceanfront view and private pool: One of the most important entertaining areas of this home is the oceanfront swimming pool, spa, deck and garden which is beautifully designed.
A private beach walk provides direct access over the dunes to the white sandy beach that is a few steps away.
Activities: Located right on Hilton Head's 12 miles of white, pristine beach, Halcyon Days offers every kind of beach activity, including sunbathing, bocce', fishing, biking, kite flying, sandcastle building, swimming, ocean kayaking and more.
North Forest Beach is one of the most popular destinations for vacationers on Hilton Head and there are may reasons for that. The beach is wide and pristine, the oceanfront homes are right 'on' the beach, not set back like in other areas on the island. There is separation between houses allowing for privacy around swimming pools in many cases.
Coligny Circle which has a wide variety of general and specialty stores is within walking distance or biking distance of most homes is a vacationers playground. Whether the kids need an ice cream or you are craving a cappuccino or your kitchen needs supplies or you simply want to go fly a kite or rent a bike, you will find it all here. There is even a private movie theater showing good quality select movies and a fine health food store with avocado and sprout sandwiches with natural juices.
