Our detached lakefront villa has a wide screened lanai, swimming pool and double garage. Four double bedrooms (sleeping 6), 2 ½ bathrooms, lounge and dining room with cathedral ceilings, family room, fully fitted kitchen/morning room with butlers’ pantry and utility room.
It is situated in the quiet residential area of Wellington Lakes, South Fort Myers, Florida. Fully equipped for all your needs, it has 2,265 square feet of living space and is fully air conditioned.
The villa has a spacious open plan living area with pocketing sliding doors onto the pool deck from the morning room, living room and master bedroom.
Family Room:
16’ x 19’ This is an open plan room with a Cathedral ceiling and views over the lake. This large confortable living space is perfect for informal family gatherings, playing games or just watching television. The room is fully carpeted and contains a 3 seater settee, love seat, single armchair, TV cabinet housing the television (cable TV with over 70 channels) and DVD/VCR player, coffee and occasional tables. There are also a selection of DVDs and videos together with a collection of reading material.
Living Room / Dining Room: 15’ x 18’ & 11’ X 11’ The area is ceramic tiled throughout with:
a large Chinese rug,
a huge sofa,
two single armchairs,
occasional tables,
coffee table,
dining room table,
six dining chairs,
lamps, etc. Triple sliding doors lead onto the pool deck.
Kitchen & Morning Room: Enjoy a scenic breakfast around the large wooden breakfasting table with six chairs in the beautifully tiled morning room 10’ x 13’ with double sliding doors onto the pool deck. This adjoins the modern open plan kitchen 10’ x 13’ with large pantry and light wood cabinets.
It is fully equipped with a ceramic topped cooker & oven, microwave, extractor, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, waste disposal unit, large fridge/freezer with icemaker and chilled water dispenser, etc. There is a radio/CD player and a small selection of CDs.
Master Bedroom: 14’ x 15’ fully carpeted, Queen size double bed, bedside units, whicker chair, large unit with mirror, lamps, built in large wardrobe leading through to the en-suite with luxury oval bath, huge walk-in shower, twin basin vanity unit, hairdryer and seperate WC.
Bedroom 2: Queen size double bed, carpeted, two bedside cabinets, large unit and built in wardrobe.
Bedrooms 3 & 4: Fully carpeted both rooms have twin beds, unit and built in wardrobe.
Bathroom 2: Fully tiled with WC, vanity unit with wash hand basin, WC, bath and shower.
Utility Room: This room houses the top loading washing machine, separate tumble dryer, ironing board, iron and vacuum cleaner.
Screened Deck & Pool: Screened pool deck overlooks the lake. The lanai (covered area) houses six chairs and large oval table for alfresco dining and for convenience there is an additional WC with vanity unit and basin.
The heated pool (26’ x 14’) has both solar and electric heating, ensuring a warm pool in the cooler months, with underwater lighting. There are four sun loungers and the added luxury of a canopied swing sun lounger for taking it easy.
Garage: The double garage has an electrically operated garage door for ease of use.
For your safety, the villa has a fully approved rental license provided by the authorities of Florida and is compliant with all the rental regulations i.e. fire extinguisher, lighting and smoke alarm.
Nestling on the Gulf Coast, Fort Myers is located 30km North of Naples and south of Sarasota. Its palm fringed avenues and white sandy beaches make this an ideal holiday destination. The area boasts every shop and restaurant imaginable, with various arts and entertainment attractions.
Fort Myers has the finest New York designer stores; indoor air-conditioned malls and the famous outlets where you can find named brands at a fraction of the retail price. The area has some 20 different beaches including the islands of Sanibel and Captiva with their white sandy beaches, and turquoise waters.
If you prefer beaches with amenities then try Fort Myers Beach with its beach bars and restaurants, water sports and sea fishing. Just south of Fort Myers are Bonita Beach & Vanderbilt Beach. Along this stretch of coastline there are numerous beautiful public beaches and wildlife parks with Naples and the Everglades within an hours drive away.
There are various trips to the Everglades with a trip on an "airboat" essential to appreciate the wildlife.
There are some 50 golf courses with most hiring out sets of clubs. The Edison & Ford Winter Homes on McGregor Blvd are an interesting "step back in time" and well worth a visit.
Or, if you prefer doing nothing at all, just enjoy the tranquility of the house pool and read a book or enjoy some company at the community pool which is exclusive to the sub division.
Fort Myers is part of Lee Island Coast which is know as Florida’s Tropical Island Paradise and the Tourist Information web site at www.leeislandcoast.com will provide you with information about places of interest, sporting venues, events, etc during your visit.
This wonderful holiday destination has a warm sub-tropical climate providing sunshine all year round with an average winter temperature in the mid 70’s.
