| The vacation lake resort 6 1/2 miles south of Traverse City, 9 cozy, comfortable cottages,2 & 3 bedroom, accommodating from 4 to 8 people each 14 ft boat comes with each cottage.The lake property has a beach with a sandy bottom, two rafts and buoys, four 30-ft docks, an extensive children's playground, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, barbecue grills, and fire pits. For boating and fishing, the resort features a large boat house with private locked lockers, a screened fish-cleaning house with running water, and a boat launch. The use of a 14-foot aluminum boat is included with each cottage rental, and additional boat and motor rentals are available.
Small pets are allowed. The resort is not handicap accessible.
Amenities: The heated vacation cottages have screened porches or decks, and kitchens with microwaves, dishes, and pots and pans. Some cottages have fireplaces. Cable is available but televisions are not provided. Some blankets and pillows are furnished; bed linens and towels are not provided.
Activities: The resort and cottages are secluded and quiet, and the property is wooded and on Arbutus Lake. Water recreation includes swimming, trophy fishing, boating and water-skiing. Nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding.
Arbutus Lake covers approximately 500 acres and has a maximum water depth of 45 feet. It is part of a 5-lake chain. Fish include bluegill, perch, northern pike, and largemouth and smallmouth bass.
