There are numerous opportunities to enjoy fishing for largemouth bass and sunfish in Hemlock Hills beautiful small lake (no fishing license required).
The Juniata River, Shawnee Lake State Park, Blue Knob and Raystown Lake are all beautiful areas to explore. The town of Bedford is a delightful New Englandish town which has Fort Bedford and Old Bedford Village.
The Lodge has 5 beautiful bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large beautifully appointed living room with a beautiful large fireplace, and another fireplace in the fully equipped kitchen, dining room and den area. It also has a large game room with ping pong table, chairs, gliders, table soccer and a large deck half-open, half-covered overlooking the lake and meadows. Below is an apartment with a separate bedroom and bathroom.

There is also 2 docks, 2 paddle boats, 2 row boats, tennis court, a beautiful lake with dock/deck/gazebo area with swimming area and swim ladder at end of dock, with large, rolling lawns, meadows and wooded areas.

Our renovated log house is a charming, old structure with logs dating back to 1836. This wonderful home is full of character.
There is a large open deck and cooling, shade trees overhead.
This private log house rental is available year round and a peaceful reprieve, the house also includes a large living/dining area, crackling fireplace and TV with VCR and big outdoor deck.
