"Schulte Riverfront Home - The Perfect Get-Away" - Murphy, North Carolina (NC)

This two-story home located in Murphy, North Carolina provides coziness for two or comfort for 6-8 people with three bedrooms (two queen-size beds,two twin beds and a queen-size sleeper sofa), two full baths, a Great Room with a rock fireplace, kitchen and dining room.

The log home is situated on approximately 7.5 acres and is surrounded by hundreds of acres just waiting to be explored by foot, mountain bike or ATV. Within walking distance you will find our private entrance, with picnic table, to a lake stocked with all kinds of fish including bass, trout, and perch. This tranquil lake has ducks and geese and is great for canoeing.

A great place for outdoor activities or just relaxing listening to the sounds of nature from the deck or the dock on the Nottley River.

Cherokee County and the City of Murphy are located in the southwestern portion of North Carolina in the Blue Ridge range of the Great Smoky Mountains. The county is comprised of 300,100 acres, of which 92,363 acres are U.S. Forest Service parks and areas. Murphy, with a population of approximately 1,600 people, is the county seat.

Within a short distance of the cabin, there are many fascinating and enjoyable places of interest. For those inclined towards outdoor activities, there are: Numerous lakes and rivers for boating, fishing, swimming, white water rafting and other aquatic pastimes. Several national forests and state parks for hiking, picnicking, sight-seeing and mountain biking. A number of other attractions, including train rides, horseback riding, boat rides and golfing. For those with a preference for indoor activities, there are many to choose from, including museums, Indian villages, historic places, art centers, and the Biltmore Estate.

Schulte Riverfront Log Home Rules: No smoking indoors, No hunting. Check-in after 3pm. Check-out before 10am. Pet Resrictions: Additional $150 security deposit required. All cats must be de-clawed/neutered. All pets must be 15 months of age or older.

Reservations held for three days pending receipt of security deposit. $150 refundable security deposit required.

Other Fees
Rates do not include 10% tax and cleaning fee of $65. Rates are based on 6 night/7 day week for up to 4 people. Additional people: Adults $100 each week; Children $50 each week. Full payment due 30 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy
100% refund is reservation cancelled no later than 30 days prior to stay. If cancellation is later than 30 days, deposit or rent will not be refunded if the home is not re-rented.
