Lake Gaston is a spectacular lake and a great spot to enjoy water sports, to fish, to boat, or to simply relax!
This beautiful contemporary two-story private lakefront home has a new Sun Room and sits on a large wooded lot with a gentle slope to the water in a beautiful cove, featuring a great view of the main lake.
Main living area features a large living area with large kitchen, dining area and living room. This opens to a brand new 14’x 22’Sun Room that overlooks the lake. The sun room features a large table for dining those seats 10 comfortably and a wicker sofa and chairs for relaxing and enjoying the spectacular views. There is a deck off of the kitchen and sun room for barbequing. There is also a large table in the dining area that seats up to 10 people. The entire house has central air-conditioning and heat with ceiling fans in all living areas and bedrooms.
There are 5 bedrooms & 3 full baths. The complete kitchen has new electric range, refrigerator, over-the-range microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and all amenities for meal preparation and enjoyment. A telephone for local calls is provided. The main living area has a 25-inch TV with a DVD player with a sofa, love seat and one side chair. The dining area has a large table with cushioned chairs. The den has a 25-inch TV with a VCR with a sleeper sofa and love seat.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, two dressers, two night stands, a side chair and a 19-inch TV. There is a private bathroom off the master suite with a shower. There are 2 additional main level bedrooms, one with king-size bed and the other with a queen size-bed. The first floor has another full bath with a shower/tub. There are 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor one with a queen size bed and the other with 2 twin beds. The 2nd floor also has a full bath with a shower/tub. All bedrooms have dressers and night stands. There is a bathroom on the second floor with a shower/tub.
A laundry area is equipped with a washer and dryer. Linens and towels are NOT provided.
There is a two-tier huge swimming and boat dock on the lake. A paddleboat and a diving board are available for use at your own risk. You may enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, and water sports from the dock. You may bring your own boat or rent from one of the local marinas. The dock is great for swimming and sunbathing. You can park your boat right up to the dock. Lake Gaston water is pure, ideal for swimming and fishing. Water-skiing and jet skiing too!
This 30 mile long lake on the Virginia/North Carolina border (1 hour/Raleigh) is top for striper fishing and host to seasonal fishing competitions. The house has a paddleboat, available to visitors, great for paddling out to view swimming ducks, and other small wildlife.
Property is ideal for relaxing or enjoying water activities. Close to main marina on lake that has restaurant with a spectacular lake view. Also provided at marina: boat rentals, repair service, snack bar, and large carp and catfish for feeding.
Lake Gaston is a large quiet lake with a water temperature over 80 degrees in the summer.

The house is a short boat rise to Eaton's Ferry Bridge & Marina. Food Lion is only 4 miles away by car.

House has games like Scrabble, Monopoly and Bingo, cards, dice, and a good supply of books, DVDs, and videos with classic and new movies. You can also rent home movies at a local rental store about 5 minutes away.
The fireplace is brilliant, welcoming and warms up the whole house, even when the central heating is not on. This is house to relax in or entertain a group of friends or family for a week-end or week stay, play games, swim, fish, boat and water ski, sunbathe and relax, listen to music, enjoy placid and inspiring sunrises and sunsets, listen to bird songs. The private dock is quiet and the water clean and pure. Swim out on your own safely, or in the company of good friends. Go out in your boat and do some water skiing or fishing.
Visit historic Warrenton and dine in one of the town's gourmet restaurants.
If you must work, the house has several phone outlets/internet access. Have fun watching TV/Cable (3 sets).
