Description |
| When looking for a home away from home, we had certain requirements in mind. We wanted to be close to the action of Branson and yet still have the peace and quite of the country lakeside. A boat launch and a Marina nearby were also a requirement. We also wanted to have a pool and a clubhouse for our friends to be able to enjoy while relaxing after their day at Silver Dollar City or taking in a show or shopping but didn’t want to be in a condo complex. Well, we believe we found it here at the Homestead. Not only is it roomy enough to accommodate a large group of friends and family, a fantastic view of the lake, and close to Branson, but it’s newly built! So we of course thought it was a perfect fit. We think you will too!
The Homestead, decorate in a Western Theme, has 6 bedrooms and 4 full baths. Five of the bedrooms are set up for couples with either a King or Queen bed. The 6th (the bunk room) has 2 sets of bunk beds with full on the bottom and a twin on top. Perfect for kids. The downstairs family room has a new flat screen 42 inch TV, great for movies, or cable TV watching. There is a miniature 3 in 1 game table and a closet stocked with board games and puzzles for those times when the parents want to sit and visit. A front porch with chairs and a swing looking at the lake are both great relaxing spots.
The new Clubhouse, playground and pool are located one door away for those times of cooling off. When finished relaxing by the pool or in the clubhouse watching TV on the big screen, or playing pool with the family, come back and grill on the gas grill or make dinner in the fully stocked kitchen and Fiesta service for 20.
A highchair and crib are provided so you won’t have to pack “everything” for the littlest buck–a-roo. The home has free nation-wide long distance, wireless Internet and a fax-printer for those times when the office has to come along.
There is a public launch ½ mile away and the State Park Marina a short drive, less than 5 miles, for your boating and water activities.
But with so much to do, the Lake, Branson, (Branson Landing less that 10 min), Silver Dollar City, (14 miles away) , we hope you will not forget some good ol’ fashion visiting time with your friends and family. After all, the porch Swing is waiting for you!
